  36. 'Adjust' will prompt you through a procedure which puts an equal amount of space between the objects in the group. 'Horizontal'  assumes that the objects are positioned side-by-side horizontally, 
  37. 'Vertical' assumes that they are stacked up in a vertical column.

In order for this to work properly, you must have selected the members of your group in a top-to-bottom or left-to-right fashion.   (If you didn't, you may find that the 'Adjust' procedure moves some of the objects all the way off the card.  Oops.  The 'Move' message  could be used to drag them back.)
